Prosthodontist Dr. Nicole Deakins, DMD, MS
Meet Dr. Deakins, Phoenixville PA Prosthodontist
Dr. Nicole Deakins first discovered her passion for dentistry at the age of 14 while on a mission trip to Honduras where she served as a dental assistant. Her interest in dentistry grew while interning at a local dental practice during her undergraduate education at the University of Notre Dame. While receiving her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Deakins was particularly drawn to restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Her interest led her to the Postgraduate Prosthodontics Residency program at Columbia University where she completed a rigorous three year program on the principles of prosthodontics.
Her specialty training in prosthodontics drives her private practice focus which includes, but is not limited to: crown and bridge restorations, implant restorations, removable dentures, implant-supported dentures, veneers, and cosmetic dentistry. In addition to working in a private practice, Dr. Deakins is also part-time faculty at the University of Pennsylvania. She loves teaching and being in an environment that promotes education on the latest dental technologies and advancements.
